Arno Olckers obtained his BProc degree in 1997. In 1998 he received a scholarship from the Humanities Research Council (HRC) as well as a merit scholarship from the University of Pretoria to study Criminology. In the meantime, he continued his law studies, and in 2000 he obtained an LLB and his honours degree in Criminology. He served part of his clerkship at Tim du Toit Attorneys, where his main responsibilities involved the drafting of deeds. This experience helped him to qualify as a conveyancer in 2001. In 2001, Arno founded his own firm – Arno Olckers Attorneys – which specialises mainly in the transfer of property. In 2012, he joined Van der Walt and Hugo Ingelyf, where he gained in-depth knowledge of mortgage registrations and property development. Arno retired as a director of the firm in 2016 and continued with his own law practice under the name and title Olckers & Associates Incorporated. Arno is currently pursuing his Masters in Tax Law at the University of Pretoria.

Annalise Erasmus is a dedicated attorney at Olckers & Associates Incorporated. She obtained her LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Pretoria and specialized in Human Rights. She also has extensive knowledge and experience in Family Law. As Annalise has standing in the High Court, she can represent clients in both the High Court and Magistrates’ Courts without the assistance of advocates. This ensures direct and prompt legal representation.
When not busy with her work, Annalise enjoys swimming and regularly participates in the Midmarmyl competition. She is also an experienced diver and even holds a Master Diver certificate. Her strong work ethic and adventurous nature make her an extremely valuable member of our team.

Bérn Groenewald is an experienced associate at Olckers & Associates Incorporated. He obtained his BProc degree in 2001 from the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education (now known as North-West University).
With his extensive knowledge of, among other areas, company law, Bérn provides valuable advice and guidance to develop practical and strategic solutions for commercial challenges. He has been practicing as an attorney since 2003 and has gained valuable experience in general legal matters and dilemmas.
Bérn is known for his exceptional client service and effective human resource management, creating a positive and professional working environment.
In his free time, Bérn is an avid golfer and a dedicated member of the Vox Chamber Choir.

Cynthia du Plessis is a highly experienced associate at Olckers & Associates Ingelyf. She holds a BLC, LLB, and LLM degree in Contract Law, and specialises in Property and Commercial Law. In addition, she has obtained an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency Litigation and Administration Practice.
Cynthia is also a senior deed practitioner and notary, with valuable practical experience gained during her term at the Pretoria Deeds Office, where she managed the execution of deeds for various law firms. Her passion for litigation makes her a versatile attorney, capable of handling a wide range of legal matters with exceptional skill and dedication.

As a senior conveyancing typist, Vaurushca excels at her job. Although she has been part of the skilled team at Olckers & Associates incorporated for the past eight years, she and Arno Olckers have been working together for 11 years. During this time, he has provided her with valuable guidance in her work. Vaurushca values the good relationships she builds with estate agents and clients, and she always strives to do her best in every situation.
It takes a lot of dedication to work full-time and study part-time for an LLB degree at the University of South Africa, like Vaurushca. Before starting her LLB, she completed a course at Boston City Campus & Business College to qualify as a legal assistant. She then obtained a Higher Certificate in Law from UNISA. Both qualifications contributed to a solid foundation in law. She also completed courses in Marketing Management, Project Management and Event Coordination. For her outstanding achievements, she was rewarded with merit scholarships.

Coolie is not only the receptionist at Arno Olckers Attorneys, but also the face of Arno Olckers Attorneys. We are very proud to say that together with the rest of the ladies she reflects the demographics of South Africa and is fluent in all 11 national languages.
Coolie is very proud of her work as a receptionist and is quick to share that she already has a Basic Deeds Certificate issued by the Law Society of South Africa. Her goal is to one day be a trained deed typist herself. She already serves as a junior typist in some deed transactions.
